Immunogen KLH conjugated synthetic peptide selected from the Center region of human SCNN1A
Specificity This antibody reacts to SCNN1A.
Purification Affinity chromatography on Protein A
Alternative Name ENAC alpha / SCNN1A (SCNN1A Antibody Abstract)
Background Nonvoltage-gated, amiloride-sensitive, sodium channels control fluid and electrolyte transport across epithelia in many organs. These channels are heteromeric complexes consisting of 3 subunits: alpha, beta, and gamma. This gene encodes the alpha subunit, and mutations in this gene have been sociated with pseudohypoaldosteronism type 1 (PHA1), a rare salt wasting disease resulting from target organ unresponsiveness to mineralocorticoids.Synonyms: Alpha-ENaC, Alpha-NaCH, Amiloride-sensitive sodium channel subunit alpha, ENaCA, Epithelial Na(+) channel subunit alpha, Nonvoltage-gated sodium channel 1 subunit alpha, SCNEA, SCNN1
Gene ID 6337
NCBI Accession NP_001029
UniProt P37088
Research Area Ion Channels
Application Notes ELISA: 1/1,000. Western blotting: 1/100 - 1/500.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
