Additional Information

Swiss-Prot P04114
Immunogen Human Apolipoprotein Type B (isolated from human plasma by density gradient centrifugation followed by HPLC purification).
Isotype IgG  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Description Gene: APOB, Standard Gene Symbol: APOB, Synonyms: APOB, Apo b-100, Apo b-48, Apolipoprotein b-100, Apolipoprotein b-48, FLDB, LDLCQ4
Specificity Recognizes human apolipoprotein B. Assay by IEP resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti goat serum. Has negligible cross-reactivity with Type A-I, A-II, C-I, C-II, C-III, E and J apolipoproteins. Typically less than 1% cross-reactivity against other types of apolipoprotein was detected by ELISA against purified standards. Non-specific cross-reaction of anti-apolipoprotein antibodies with other human serum proteins is negligible.
