Description
The p105 protein found in all human cells in a dimeric form (105 kD) and monomeric form(41 kD), is a proliferation-associated nuclear antigen that is absent in non-cycling cells inthe Go phase. This protein is important in the synthesis and transport of RNA in the cellregulation cycle. During G2 , and mitosis, this protein is increased possibly due to theunmasking of nucleolar antigens.
Specificity
The antibody recognizes human p105 protein. Other species not tested. Cellular localization: Nuclear.

Application Notes
Western Blot (1: 100 - 1: 200). Immunohistochemistry on frozen and Paraffin sections (1: 50 - 1: 100). Please note: Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections require pepsin ortrypsin digestion. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
