Application Details

Application Notes: Peptide ELISA: Limit Dilution: 1/128000. Western blot: 1-3 μg/mL. Approx 35 kDa band observed in lysates of cell line HeLa(calculated MW of 34.5 kDa according to NP_000309.1).
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Background: This gene encodes an integral peroxisomal membrane protein required for peroxisome biogenesis. The protein is thought to be involved in peroxisomal matrix protein import. Mutations in this gene result in one form of Zellweger syndrome and infantile Refsum disease.
