Application Details

Application Notes: Peptide ELISA: 1/32000. Western blot: 0.25-0.5 μg/mL. Approx 140-150 kDa band observed in 293 lysates (predictedsize of approx.100 kDa according to NP_062817.1, however our observation agrees withthat of Dostie et al (see Ref.1). Immunohistochemistry: 5-10 μg/mL. In paraffin embedded Human Pancreas shows strong staining of cytoplasm in acinar cells.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Background: EIF4ENIF1 is a nucleocytoplasmic shuttle protein for the translation initiation factor eIF4E. This shuttle protein mediates the nuclear import of eIF4E, by interacting with the importin alpha-beta complex.
