Immunogen Amino acids 1-50 of human Ambra1 .Remarks: 100% homologous in human, mouse, rat, cow and chicken
Specificity This antibody reacts to Ambra1.
Purification Protein G Chromatography
Alternative Name AMBRA1
Background Ambra1, a WD40 domain containing protein, is a novel activating molecule in Beclin 1-regulated autophagy and plays a role in the development of the nervous system. The protein binds to Beclin 1 and favors Beclin 1/Vps34 interaction. The Ambra1 gene localized on human chromosome 11p11.2, encodes the protein that is highly conserved in vertebrates only and its expression is mostly confined to the neuroepithelium during early neurogenesis.
Alternate names: Activating molecule in BECN1-regulated autophagy protein 1, KIAA1736
Gene ID 55626
NCBI Accession NP_060219
UniProt Q9C0C7
Research Area Cancer, Autophagy, Neurogenesis
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Liquid
Concentration 0,5 mg/mL
Buffer PBS containing 0.05% BSA and 0.05% sodium azide
