Immunogen Peptide corresponding to amino acids 167-189 of human PARK7 (DJ-1)
Sequence AIVEALNGKE VAAQVKAPLV LKD
Specificity This antibody detects DJ-1 / PARK7. Species Reactivity: Tested: Mouse
Purification Protein G purified
Alternative Name DJ-1 / PARK7
Background Four chromosomal loci (PARK2, PARK6, PARK7, and PARK9) associated with autosomal recessive, early onset parkinsonism are known. Positional cloning within the refined PARK7 critical region recently identified mutations in the DJ-1 gene in PARK7-linked families. Mutations in the PARK7/DJ-1 gene cause autosomal-recessive Parkinsons disease.
Alternate names: Oncogene DJ1, Parkinson disease protein 7
Gene ID 11315
NCBI Accession NP_001116849
UniProt Q99497
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Liquid
Concentration 1.0 mg/mL
Buffer PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide
