Description: FUNCTION: Molecular calcium binding chaperone promoting folding, oligomeric assembly and quality control in the ER via the calreticulin/calnexin cycle. This lectin interacts transiently with almost all of the monoglucosylated glycoproteins that are synthesized in the ER. Interacts with the DNA-binding domain of NR3C1 and mediates its nuclear export. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Endoplasmic reticulum lumen. Cytoplasm › cytosol. Secreted › extracellular space › extracellular matrix. Cell surface. Note: Also found in cell surface (T cells), cytosol and extracellular matrix. Associated with the lytic granules in the cytolytic T-lymphocytes. Also known as: CALR, CRP55, Calregulin, HACBP, ERp60, grp60, CRTC.

Application Details

Application Notes: IHC, WB. A dilution of 1: 300 to 1: 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.

Purity: whole serum

Storage: Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
