Immunogen Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of pThr360, pSer362 (V-P-T (p) -P-S (p) -P-L) derived from Human CK2a. Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates.
Specificity The antibody detects endogenous level of CK2 only when phosphorylated at thronine 360.
Purification Affinity purified
Alternative Name CK2alpha
Background Casein kinases are operationally defined by their preferential utilization of acidic proteins such as caseins as substrates. The a and a' chains contain the catalytic site. Participates in Wnt signaling. CK2 phosphorylates 'Ser-392' of p53/TP53 following UV irradiation.
Molecular Weight 42 kDa
Gene ID 1495
NCBI Accession NP_001894
UniProt P68400
Application Notes Western blotting: 1:1000
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Liquid
Concentration 1 mg/mL
Buffer Phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 0.02 % sodium azide and 50 % glycerol.
Preservative Sodium azide
Precaution of Use This product contains sodium azide: a POISONOUS AND HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE which should be handled by trained staff only.
