Description Xyloglucan endotransglucosylases (Xet) are a class of enzymes capable ofcatalyzing the molecular grafting between xyloglucans and/or the endotypehydrolysis of a xyloglucan molecule in plant cell wall. XET protein resides in theprimary cell wall and at least some of the enzyme molecules are covalentlyattached to the xyloglucan and dissociate from it when another xyloglucanmolecule is available to make a new glycosidic bond. The enzyme can be easilyeluted from cell wall with low salt buffers.
Specificity Predicted reactivity: dicots including Arabidopsis thaliana, Asparagus officinalis, Cucumis melo,Cucumis sativum, Malus sylvestris, Solanum lycopersicum.

Application Details

Application Notes Recommended Dilution 1: 1000 with standard ECL (WB), 1:10 (IHC). Additional Information: No signal was so far obtained with this antibody using a transmission electronmicroscopy.
Purity Serum
Storage store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C, once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please, remember to spin tubes briefly prior toopening them to avoid any losses that might occur from lyophilized materialadhering to the cap or sides of the tubes.
