Immunogen Mammary organoids.
Clone BA-17
Isotype IgG1
Specificity The antibody BA-17 reacts with cytokeratin 19 (40 kDa) in human tissue. Cytokeratin 19 is not expressed in hepatocytes, it is often co-expressed with cytokeratin 7.
Purification Purified from ascites by protein-A affinity chromatography.
Purity > 95 % (by SDS-PAGE)
Alternative Name KRT19 (KRT19 Antibody Abstract)
Background Cytokeratins are a subfamily of intermediate filaments and characterized by remarkable biochemical diversity. Cytokeratins are represented in epithelial tissues by at least 20 different polypeptides, molecular weight between 40 kDa and 68 kDa. The individual cytokeratin polypeptides are designated 1 to 20 and divided into the type I (acidic cytokeratins 9-20) and type II (basic to neutral cytokeratins 1-8) families.
Research Area Cytoskeleton, Signaling, Cytokeratins, Extracellular Matrix
Application Notes Optimal working dilution should be determined by the investigator.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Concentration 1 mg/mL
Buffer Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, approx. pH 7.4
Handling Advice Do not freeze.
Storage 4 °C
Storage Comment Store at 2-8°C. Do not freeze. Do not use after expiration date stamped on vial label.
