Immunogen KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1-30 amino acids from the N-terminal region of Human DCTD. Genename: DCTD
Isotype Ig
Specificity This antibody recognizes Human DCTD (N-term).
Purification Affinity Chromatography on Protein A
Alternative Name DCTD (DCTD Antibody Abstract)
Background The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the deamination of dCMP to dUMP, the nucleotide substrate for thymidylate synthase. The encoded protein is allosterically activated by dCTP and inhibited by dTTP, and is found as a homohexamer. This protein uses zinc as a cofactor for its activity. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this geneSynonyms: Deoxycytidylate deaminase, dCMP deaminase
Molecular Weight 20016 Da
Gene ID 1635
NCBI Accession NP_001012750
Research Area Chromatin and Nuclear Signaling
Application Notes Optimal working dilution should be determined by the investigator.
