Additional Information

Immunogen BALB/C mice were injected with extract of colon carcinoma cells.
Format Supernatant (prediluted)
Isotype IgG2a kappa
Clone Col-1
Specificity This antibody reacts with a highly glycosylated protein of MW 180 kD, synthesized during development in the fetal gut and several tumors. It does not react with normal colon antigen (NCA). It stains the cell surface and cytoplasm of malignant glands in colorectal adenocarcinomas.

Application Details

Application Notes Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Proteolytic treatment is required prior to immunostaining of formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections. Positive Control: Colan carcinoma. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic, lumenal membrane
Concentration 1 to 4 ug/ml
Buffer This antibody has been pretitered and quality controlled to work on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded as well as acetone fixed cryostat tissue sections. No further titration is required.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Research Area Cancer
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
