Additional Information

Alternative name CD8
Immunogen Synthetic peptide comprising of 13 C terminal amino acids of the cytoplasmic domain of CD8 molecule.
Format Supernatant (prediluted)
Isotype IgG1 kappa  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone 144B
Specificity This antibody reacts specifically with a 32 kD protein similar to CD8 molecule. This antibody stains cytotoxic/suppressor T cells and shows a staining patterns similar to clustered CD8 monoclonal antibodies.

Application Details

Application Notes Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30-60 minutes at room temperature or overnight at 40 C. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Cell membrane
Concentration 1 to 4 ug/ml
Buffer This antibody has been pretitered and quality controlled to work on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded as well as acetone fixed cryostat tissue sections. No further titration is required.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Research Area CD Antigens
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
