Immunogen Purified recombinant fragment of NCOR1 (aa1-192) expressed in E. Coli.
Clone 7A7A9
Isotype IgG1
Purification Ascitic fluid
Alternative Name NCOR1
Background NCOR1: Nuclear receptor co-repressor 1. This gene encodes a protein that mediates ligand-independent transcription repression of thyroid-hormone and retinoic-acid receptors by promoting chromatin condensation and preventing access of the transcription machinery. It is part of a complex which also includes histone deacetylases and transcriptional regulators similar to the yeast protein Sin3p. This gene is located between the Charcot-Marie-Tooth and Smith-Magenis syndrome critical regions on chromosome 17. An alternatively spliced transcript variant has been described, but its full length sequence has not been determined.
Synonyms: N-CoR, TRAC1, hN-CoR
Gene ID 9611
Application Notes Western Bloting: 1/500 - 1/2000.
Immunohistochemistry: 1/200 - 1/1000.
ELISA: Propose dilution 1/10000.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Determining optimal working dilutions by titration test.
