Specificity: Rat Anti-Mouse CD44 (Clone IM7) recognizes recognizes all isoforms of the Pgp-1 cell surface glycoprotein. This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype. Antigen Distribution: The CD44 antigen is present on B-cells, monocytes, macrophages and certain subsets of thymocytes and peripheral T-cells. Mice with the Ly-24.1 allotype have high densities of CD44+ T-cells, while Ly-24.2 strains are low expressors. The antibody cross reacts with Human on canine.

Application Details

Application Notes: IHC (Frozen), FC Flow Cytometry: It is recommended to use the indirect method for signal enhancement when enumerating cells expressing CD44. A suggested method would be to stain cells expressing CD44 with 0.25 g per 1 x 106 cells in a total staining volume of 100 l followed by UltraAvidin- R-phycoerythrin (R-PE) (Leinco Prod. No.: A104). Each Investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
