The optimal working dilution should be determined by the investigator. Suggested starting dilution: 1:20 - 1:2,000 for most applications - Comment

- For Research Use only
-
- Format
- Lyophilized
- Reconstitution
- Rehydrate with 1.1 mL of deionized water. Allow reconstituted product to stand for at least 30 minutes at room temperature prior to dilution. If necessary, Centrifuge to remove any particulates. Prepare fresh working dilution daily.
- Concentration
- 1.0 mg/mL
- Buffer
- 10 mM Sodium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2, 1 % (w/v) BSA, Protease/IgG free
- Preservative
- Sodium azide
- Precaution of Use
- WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
- Handling Advice
-
Product is photosensitive and should be protected from light.
Prepare working dilution prior to use and then discard. Be sure to mix well but without foaming.
A solution with 50 % glycerol will not freeze in -20 °C. If you are using a 1:5000 dilution prior to diluting with glycerol, then you would need to use a 1:2500 dilution after adding glycerol. - Storage
- 4 °C
