Additional Information
| Alternative name | CD74 |
| Format | Supernatant (prediluted) |
| Isotype | IgG1 kappa (Matching secondary antibodies) |
| Clone | LN2 |
| Specificity | This antibody reacts with a 35 kD antigen present on the nuclear membrane protein related to the invariant chain of the HLA-Dr antigen. This antibody reacts with the germinal center and mantle zone B lymphocytes, interdigitating histiocytes in T cell zones and mononuclear cells and Reed-Sternberg cells in Hodgkin's disease. This antibody may be useful in the identification of germinal center derived B cell lymphomas and leukemias. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Cell membrane |
| Concentration | 1 to 4 ug/ml |
| Buffer | This antibody has been pretitered and quality controlled to work on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded as well as acetone fixed cryostat tissue sections. No further titration is required. |
| Storage | Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label. |
| Research Area | CD Antigens |
| Restrictions | For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union |
