Additional Information

Alternative name cdk2
Immunogen BALB/C mice were injected with a human recombinant cdk2 protein.
Format Ig-fraction
Isotype IgG2b  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone 2B6
Specificity This antibody reacts with a 33 kDa protein known as cdk2. cdk-2 complexes with cyclins E, D1 and D3. Cyclin E-cdk2 kinase is active in the G1 and S- phases of the cell cycle and is important (as does Cyclin A-cdk2) for the progression from G1 to S-phase. The levels of Cyclin A-cdk2 is maximal at the G1/S transition and both cdk2 and Cyclin A are found associated with DNA in the initiation complex during replication. This antibody cross reacts with mouse and rat.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic, nuclear Other Applications: Western Blotting (1:100-500).
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as purified immunoglobulin fraction containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Research Area Cell Cycle
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
