Additional Information

Immunogen Keyhole limpet hemocyanin conjugated synthetic human peptide c-erbB-2 oncoprotein.
Format Antiserum
Specificity This antibody reacts with the c-erbB-2 oncoprotein, a 190 kD protein. The proto-oncogene for c-erbB-2 is located on the human chromosome 17, band 21. It has structural similarities to EGFR. Several studies have indicated that c-erbB-2 may be a good indicator of the prognosis of human carcinomas in the breast, ovary, uterus and gastrointestinal tract.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation conditions should be determined by the user. Suitable for formalin/paraffin tissues. Although not required, high temperature treatment may enhance the immunostaining in overfixed tissues. Positive Control: Breast carcinoma. Cellular localization: Cell membrane
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer Affinity purified rabbit antiserum against human c-erbB-2 oncoprotein containing azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Research Area Receptors, Growth Factors
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
