| Specificity | Chromogranin A is a 439 amino acid protein present in secretory granules of a wide variety of endocrine cells and neurons. A positive staining is seen in the secretory granules of parathyroid, adrenal medulla, anterior pituitary gland and Langerhans islets of pancreas. This antibody stains a variety of neuroendocrine tumors. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:100 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Suitable for formalin/paraffin tissues. Positive Control: Pancreas. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic Other Applications: Western Blotting (1:50 to 1:100) |
