Additional Information
| Alternative name | Cytokeratin 7 |
| Immunogen | BALB/C mice were immunized with ovarian carcinoma cell line, OTN11. |
| Format | Supernatant (prediluted) |
| Isotype | IgG1 kappa (Matching secondary antibodies) |
| Clone | OV-TL12-30 |
| Specificity | This antibody recognizes keratin polypeptide of 54 kD. It stains a number of epithelial cells including ductal and glandular epithelia. Stratified squamous epithelia are positive but transitional epithelium of the urinary tract does not show any staining. This antibody labels adenocarcinomas and transitional carcinomas but does not react with squamous cell carcinomas. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Proteolytic treatment is required prior to immunostaining of formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections. Positive Control: Skin. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic |
| Concentration | 1 to 4 ug/ml |
| Buffer | This antibody has been pretitered and quality controlled to work on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded as well as acetone fixed cryostat tissue sections. No further titration is required. |
| Storage | Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label. |
| Research Area | Extracellular Matrix |
| Restrictions | For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union |
