Additional Information

Alternative name Cytokeratin 5, 6, 8, 17, 19
Immunogen BALB/C mice were immunized with crude extract of splenic cells from a nude mouse engrafted with MCF-7 cells.
Format Supernatant
Isotype IgG1 kappa  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone MNF116
Specificity This antibody recognizes cytokeratin polypeptides ranging from 40 through 58kD, corresponding to cytokeratins 5, 6, 8,17 and 19. It shows a broad pattern of reactivity with human epithelial tissues from simple glandular epithelia to stratified squamous epithelia, like epidermis, mammary gland ducts and tracheal epithelium.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Enzymatic predigestion of paraffin embedded tissues is recommended prior to the immunostaining. Positive Control: Skin. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as tissue culture supernatant containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Research Area Extracellular Matrix
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
