Additional Information

Alternative name Cytokeratin 20
Immunogen Cytokeratins isolated from human micro dissected villi of human duodenal mucosa.
Format Supernatant
Isotype IgG2a-kappa  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone KS20-8
Specificity Cytokeratin 20 is less acidic than the other type I cytokeratins and is of particular interest because of its restricted range of expression. This antibody reacts with cytokeratin polypeptide of 46 kD in immunoblott analyses. Studies have shown that a marked difference exists in the expression of cytokeratin 20 among various carcinomas.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Skin. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic Other Applications: Western Blotting (1:50 to 1:100)
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as purified immunoglobulin containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Research Area Extracellular Matrix
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
