Additional Information

Alternative name Cytomegalovirus (CMV) Cocktail
Immunogen BALB/c mice were immunized with cytomegalovirus infected cell lysate.
Format Supernatant (prediluted)
Isotype IgG1, IgG2a kappa  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone DDG9-CCH2
Specificity This cocktail antibody reacts with an immediate early and early CMV antigens. The antibody stain infected cells giving a nuclear staining pattern with an immediate early and an early antigen. In Western blot, DDG9 reacts with 76 kD protein, where as CCH2 reacts with a 43 kD protein.

Application Details

Application Notes Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Proteolytic treatment is required prior to immunostaining of formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections. Positive Control: Infected cervix. Cellular localization: Nuclear
Concentration 1 to 4 ug/ml
Buffer This antibody has been pretitered and quality controlled to work on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded as well as acetone fixed cryostat tissue sections. No further titration is required.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Research Area Virology
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
