Additional Information

Immunogen BALB/C mice were injected with purified human alpha- fetoprotein.
Format Ig-fraction
Isotype IgG2a  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone C3
Specificity Alpha-Fetoprotein (AFP) is a single chain glycoprotein of 70 kD that is normally expressed in the fetal liver, gastrointestinal tract and yolk sac. This antibody recognizes an epitope of alpha- Fetoprotein present in human and several other species. It cross reacts with human, dog and pig but not with bovine, cat, rat and mouse.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Suitable for formalin/paraffin tissues. Positive Control: Fetal liver. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as diluted ascites containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
