| Specificité | 11-Deoxycorticosterone 100% 11-alpha-hydroxyprogesterone ~4% Cortisol ~2% Prednisone ~2% Prednisolone, 11-Deoxycortisol, Cortisone <1% Assay Procedure: Extract an aliquot (100 ul) of plasma/serum with ethyl acetate (3 ml). Evaporate the extract under nitrogen and add 0.1 ml of assay buffer. Dispense the standards in ethanol into assay tubes and evaporate the solvent under nitrogen at 30ºC. Add 100 ul of assay buffer. Add the antiserum and tritated 11-deoxycortisol to all tubes. Separate the bound from the free steroid using Dextran coated-charcoal at 4ºC. Centrifuge.
