| Specificity | This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multistep process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Biotin, anti-Goat Serum as well as purified and partially purified Acetyl Cholinesterase [Bovine Erythrocytes]. Cross reactivity against Acetyl Cholinesterase from other sources is unknown. |
Application Details: Acetylcholine Esterase Biotin (Bovine) antibody
| Application | Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA) |
| Application Notes | Suitable for immunoblotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, immunomicroscopy as well as other antibody based assays using streptavidin or avidin conjugates requiring lot-to-lot consistency. This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Acetyl Cholinesterase in a standard capture ELISA using Peroxidase Conjugated Streptavidin and ABTS (2,2’-azino-bis-[3- ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:1,000 to 1:2,000 is suggested for this product. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions of this antibody are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. |
