Specificity The antibody reacts with CD16 antigen that functions as a low affinity receptor for aggregated IgG (FcgammaRIII antigen). CD16 antigen exists in two different isoforms: CD16a is a transmembrane form (50-65 kDa) expressed on NK cells, monocytes and macrophages, CD16b is a GPI-anchored form (48 kDa) mainly expressed on neutrophils.

Buffer The reagent is provided in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) high-grade protease free Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) as a stabilizing agent.
