| Specificity | This antibody is specific to a membrane glycoprotein of 45 KD, designated as CD23. CD23 is found on a subpopulation of peripheral blood cells, B lymphocytes and on EBV transformed B lymphoblastoid cell lines. Expression of CD23 has been detected in neoplastic cells from cases of B cell chronic lymphocytic leukemias. |
Application Details: CD23 (Human) antibody
| Application | Immunohistochemistry (IHC) |
| Application Notes | Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:10 to 1:20 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 60 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Cell membrane |
| Buffer | This antibody is supplied as tissue culture supernatant containing sodium azide as preservative. |
| Storage | Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label. |
| Research Area | CD Antigens |
| Restrictions | For Research Use only |
