| Specificity | Cyclin D1 or PRAD-1 or bcl-1 is one of the key cell cycle regulators, and functions in as sociation with cdk4 and / or cdk6 by phosphorylating the Rb protein. It is a putative proto-oncogene overexpressed in a wide variety of human neoplasms including mantle cell lymphomas (MCL). This antibody is reactive with human, mouse and rat Cyclin D1. |

| Application Notes | Immunohistochemistry on paraffin embedded sections (1:100). High temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 is required for this antibody. Use human breast carcinoma for positive control. Staining is nuclear. Can also be used for Western blotting (1/100-1/500, use human lung cell line as positive control) and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions of this antibody are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. |
