| Specificity | The cyclin D1 protein belongs to a family of proteins which function primarily in the cell division cycle by regulating the activity of cyclin dependent kinases (cdks). The chromosomal region in which the cyclin D1 gene is located is amplified in a number of cancers. The human cyclin D1 gene has been mapped to the 11q13 locus and has been shown to be the PRAD1 gene product. This antibody cross reacts with monkey, rat and mouse. |
