| Description | This antibody labels the nuclei of proliferating cells in normal tissues and in a variety of tumors. Cyclins are proteins that oscillate in concentration during the eukaryotic cell cycle. Cyclins activate cyclin-dependent protein kinases (Cdk proteins), cyclin-Cdk protein complexes control progression through different stages of the cell cycle. D-cyclins are important in regulating G1 phase progression. |
| Clone | DCS-22 |
| Host | Mouse |
| Specificity | This antibody reacts with cyclin D3 molecules that are found in amplified amounts in the nuclei of neoplastic cells. |
Application Details: Cyclin D3 (Human) antibody
| Application | Immunohistochemistry ((Frozen Sections) (IHC) (fro)), Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed Sections) (IHC (f)), Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections) (IHC (p)) |
| Application Notes | This antibody can be used on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections, as well as on frozen tissue sections. For a three-step avidin-biotin complex detection system, a dilution of 1:20-1:40 is recommended as a guideline. When using paraffin-embedded and formalin-fixed tissues, high temperature antigenic unmasking technique is strongly recommended for consistent and reproducible results. This product can also be usedon frozen tissue sections. The optimal conditions should be determined by the individual laboratory. |
