| Description | Fibrinogen is the main protein of blood coagulation system. It consists of two identical subunits that contain three polypeptide chains: alpha, beta and gamma. The process of blood coagulation results in the activation of fibrinogen into fibrin by thrombin and fibrin polymerization. Fibrin clot is then digested by plasmin, and fibrin degradation products of different molecular weights are released into the bloodstream. |
| Clone | DD1 |
| Host | Mouse |
| Specificity | Ab10050 is specific for D-Dimer and high molecular weight fibrin degradation products. No cross-reaction with D-Monomer or D-Dimer treated with mercaptoethanol. |
Application Details: D-Dimer (Human) antibody
| Application | ELISA, Immunoassay (IA), Western Blotting (WB) |
| Application Notes | ELISA: Use at an assay dependent dilution. IA: Use at an assay dependent dilution. WB: Use at an assay dependent dilution. Can be paired for ELISA with this antibody as capture and ABIN143877 Mouse monoclonal [DD4] to D-Dimer , ABIN145520 Mouse monoclonal [DD5] to D-Dimer or ABIN143862 Mouse monoclonal [DD6] to D-Dimer as detection. Less than 10ng/ml of D-dimer can be detected using this antibody and HRP labeled ABIN143862 [DD6]. To be analyzed in sandwich immunoassay, plasma must be diluted with 10 mM Tris/HCl buffer, pH 7.5, containing 1 M NaCl and 0.1 % Tween 20. To avoid non-specific binding, the final NaCl concentration in plasma samples must be 0.5 M or more. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. |
