| Description | Fibrinogen is the main protein of blood coagulation system. It consists of two identical subunits that contain three polypeptide chains: alpha, beta and gamma. The process of blood coagulation results in the activation of fibrinogen into fibrin by thrombin and fibrin polymerization. Fibrin clot is then digested by plasmin, and fibrin degradation products of different molecular weights are released into the bloodstream. |
| Clone | DD6 |
| Host | Mouse |
| Specificity | Ab10056 is specific for D-dimer and high molecular weight fibrin degradation products. Low cross-reaction with D-monomer, cross-reaction with fibrinogen. Good for detection MAb in two-step sandwich IA. |
Application Details: D-Dimer (Human) antibody
| Application | ELISA, Immunoassay (IA), Western Blotting (WB) |
| Application Notes | ELISA: Use at an assay dependent dilution. IA: Use at an assay dependent dilution. WB: Use at an assay dependent dilution. Can be paired for ELISA with ABIN143836 Mouse monoclonal [DD1] to D-Dimer and ABIN143883 Mouse monoclonal [DD2] to D-Dimer . To be analyzed in sandwich immunoassay, plasma must be diluted with 10 mM Tris/HCl buffer, pH 7.5, containing 1 M NaCl and 0.1 % Tween 20. To avoid non-specific binding, the final NaCl concentration in plasma samples must be 0.5 M or more. Less than 10 ng/ml of D-Dimer can be detected by DD1-DD6 assay using ordinary ELISA approach with HRP-labeled DD6 MAb. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. |
