| 描述 | Death Effector Filament-forming Ced 4 like Apoptosis Protein (DEFCAP) is a novel apoptotic protein of the mammalian Ced 4 family. It has two isoforms: DEFCAP-Land DEFCAP-S. The deduced amino acid sequences of these two alternately spliced isoforms only differ by 44amino acids at the C-terminus. DEFCAP contains a caspase recruitment domain (CARD), a domain that with the proper stimulation can recruit caspases to form cytoplasmic structures called death effector filaments, which in turn initiate the apoptotic signaling pathway. |

| 应用备注 | Immunoprecipitation: use at a concentration of 3.0-5.0 ug / extract from 10^7 cells. Western Blotting: use at a concentration of 0.5-2.0 ug/ml. ELISA: use at a concentration of 0.1-1.0 ug/ml. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions / concentrations should be determined by the end user. By Western blot, this antibody detects a band of approximately 165 kDa in rat brain tissue lysate, which corresponds to the predicted molecular weight of DEFCAP. Sample wasboiled prior to subjecting on 7.5% SDS-PAGE. An ~80 kDa band was also observed in this blot. |
