| Description | DNA polymerase beta comprises an amino-terminal 8 kD domain and a carboxy-terminal 31 kD domain. DNA Polymerase beta, a DNA repair polymerase, is constitutively expressed in cultured cells. DNA polymerase beta fills single nucleotide gaps in DNA produced by the base excision repair pathway of mammalian cells. |
| Clone | 61 |
| Host | Mouse |
| Specificity | This antibody is specific to a 39 kDa protein known as DNA polymerase beta. |
Application Details: DNA Polymerase beta (Human) antibody
| Application | Immunohistochemistry ((Frozen Sections) (IHC) (fro)), Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed Sections) (IHC (f)), Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections) (IHC (p)), Western Blotting (WB) |
| Application Notes | This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. |
