Specificity Detects human Lysophosphatidic Acid Receptor Edg2/LPA1. It is expected that this antibody will also react with mouse and rat Edg2 because of 100% sequence homology of the peptide used for immunisation (3rd cytoplasmic loop). Edg2 has been reported in most human tissues, and is especially abundant in brain cortical regions. ESTs have been isolated from bone, brain, breast, connective tissue, embryo, heart/melanocyte/uterus, lung, prostate, and uterus libraries.

Application Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections) (IHC (p))
Application Notes Immunohistochemistry on paraffin embedded sections: 2 - 3 ug/ml (steam slides in 0.01 M sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0 at 99-100°C - 20 min. Remove from heat and let stand at room temperature in buffer - 20 min.). Other appications not tested. Optimal dilutions of this antibody are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Buffer This antibody is supplied as liquid IgG purified on immunogen affinity column in PBS, pH 7.7 containing 0.01% NaN3 as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 4-8°C for one month or at –70°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
