Description	Hepatitis B Virus ist ein weit verbreitetes Virus, das als eine Hauptursache von Leberzirrhose gilt. Eine Spätfolge der Hepatitis B-Infektion kann ein Leberkarzinom sein. Besonders betroffen von Hepatitis B ist medizinisches Personal. (Ursache ist häufig unsachgemäßer Umgang mit infektiösem Material!)Der Antikörper gegen HBsAG wird eingesetzt zum Nachweis von Leberzellen, die mit dem Hepatitis B Virus infiziert sind. Bei gesunder Leber und in anderen Geweben wird keine Färbung erzielt.
