Description du produit: Histone H1 antibody
| Antigène | Histone H1 |
| Immunogène | This antibody was purified from hybridoma (clone C14093) supernatant using protein A agarose. This hybridoma was established by fusion of mouse myeloma cell Sp2/0-Ag14 with Balb/c mouse splenocyte immunized with the protein fraction extracted from the mitotic chromosome. |
| Type anticorps | Monoclonal |

| Description | The nucleosome is made up of four core histone proteins (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4) and is the primary building block of chromatin. The N-terminal tail of core histones undergoes multiple different post-translational modifications including acetylation, phosphorylation, ubiquitination, methylation, and ADP-ribosylation. Histone H1, also known as linker histone, is bound to linker DNA region between nucleosomes, contributing to chromatin foldings in the nucleus. It is known that histone H1 is also post-translationally modified, such as phosphorylation or methylation and relation of these modifications with biological meanings are under extensive investigations. Histone H1 is essential for higher order structure of mitotic chromosomes that are condensed structure of chromatin during mitosis. |
