Spezifität This antibody recognises the N-terminal region of Homer, a neuronal intermediate - early gene that is enriched at excitatory synapses and binds metabotrophic glutamate receptors. This antibody recognises the full length homer isoforms 1c and 1b and the smaller Homer 1a isoform, that is expressed on activation. This antibody also recognises Homer 2 proteins 2a and 2b. Reacts with mouse, human and rat. Antibody reactivity and working conditions may vary between species.

Applikation Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections) (IHC (fro)), Western Blotting (WB)
Applikationshinweise Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections: 1/100 – 1/200. Western blot: 1/100 – 1/500. This antibody detects a band approximately 47 kDa in crude brain extract from naive rat. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions of this antibody are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Buffer This antibody is supplied as liquid serum with 0.09% sodium azide as preservative.
Lagerung Store the antibody at 4-8°C for one month or at –20°C for longer. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
