| Description | The M5/114.15.2 antibody reacts with a polymorphic determinant shared by the I-A, I-A, I-A, I-E, and I-E MHC class II alloantigens. These class II molecules are expressed on antigen presenting cells (including B cells) and a subset of T cells from H-2 bearing mice and are involved in antigen presentation to T cells expressing CD3/TCR and CD4 proteins. The M5/114.15.2 antibody cross-reacts with the H-2 haplotypes. The M5/114.15.2 antibody has been reported to block antigen presentation. Distribution: B and activated T cells, APCs of the H-2 bearing mice Function: Antigen presentation Synonyms: MHC class II Structure: MHC class II |
| Clone | M5-114-15-2 |

| Specificité | Reacts with a shared determinant on i-a |
Applications: I-A/I-E Mouse (Murine) antibody
| Application | Flow Cytometry (FACS), Intracellular Flow Cytometry (ICFC) |
| Indications d'application | Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: immunoprecipitation, intracellular immunofluorescent staining, immunohistochemistry of frozen sections, and in vitro and in vivo blocking of antigen presentation or ligand binding. The LEAF(TM) purified antibody (Endotoxin <0.1 EU/µg, Azide-Free, 0.2 µm sterile-filtered) is recommended for functional assays (ABIN156279). This reagent is developed for immunofluorescent staining for flow cytometric analysis, the suggested use of this reagent is < 0.5 µg per 10 cells in 100 µl volume. It is highly recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. * Pacific Blue(TM) has a maximum emission of 455 nm when it is excited at 405 nm. Prior to using Pacific Blue(TM) conjugate for flow cytometric analysis, please verify your flow cytometer's capability of exciting and detecting the fluorochrome. ** Pacific Blue(TM) is a registered trademark of Molecular Probes, Inc. Pacific Blue(TM) dye antibody conjugates are sold under license from Molecular Probes, Inc. for research use only, except for use in combination with microarrays and high content screening, and are covered by pending and issued patents. |
| Conjugué | Pacific Blue |
| Purification | The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with Pacific Blue(TM) under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated Pacific Blue(TM). |
| Buffer | Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide. |
| Stock | The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze. |
