| Description | The 25-9-17 antibody reacts with the beta chain of the I-A MHC class II alloantigen. These class II molecules are expressed on antigen presenting cells (including B cells) and a subset of T cells from H-2 bearing mice and are involved in antigen presentation to T cells expressing CD3/TCR and CD4 proteins. The 25-9-17 antibody cross-reacts with alloantigens of the H-2 haplotypes. Distribution: B and activated T cells, APCs of H-2 mice Function: Antigen presentation Synonyms: MHC class II Structure: ß chain of I-A MHC class II |
| Clone | 25-09-2017 |
| Host | Mouse |
| Specificity | Cross-reacts with alloantigens of h-2 haplotypes |
Application Details: I-Ab (Abetab) Mouse (Murine) antibody
| Application | Flow Cytometry (FACS), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections) (IHC (fro)) |
| Application Notes | Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: complement-dependent cytotoxicity, immunoprecipitation, and immunohistochemical staining of acetone-fixed frozen sections. The LEAF(TM) purified antibody (Endotoxin <0.1 EU/µg, Azide-Free, 0.2 µm sterile-filtered) is recommended for functional assays (ABIN156644). Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is < 0.5 µg per 10 cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. |
| Conjugate | LEAF |
| Purification | The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography. |
| Buffer | Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing no preservative. 0.2 µm filter sterilized. Endotoxin level is < 0.1 EU/µg of the protein (< 0.01 ng/µg of the protein) as determined by the LAL test. |
| Storage | The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 °C. This LEAF(TM) solution contains no preservative, handle under aseptic conditions. |
