| Description | The KH74 antibody reacts with the I-A MHC class II alloantigen. These class II molecules are expressed on antigen presenting cells (including B cells) and a subset of T cells from H-2 bearing mice and are involved in antigen presentation to T cells expressing CD3/TCR and CD4 proteins. The KH74 antibody cross-reacts with the I-A, I-A, I-A, and I-A haplotypes. Distribution: B and activated T cells, APCs of H-2 mice Function: Antigen presentation Synonyms: MHC class II Structure: MHC class II |
| Clone | KH74 |
| Host | Mouse |
Application Details: I-Ab Mouse (Murine) antibody
| Application | Flow Cytometry (FACS) |
| Application Notes | Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: complement-mediated cytotoxicity, and immunohistochemical staining of acetone-fixed frozen tissue sections. Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is < 0.25 µg per 10cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. |
| Conjugate | Biotin |
| Purification | The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with biotin under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated biotin. |
| Buffer | Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide. |
| Storage | The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C. Do not freeze. |
| Restrictions | For Research Use only |
