| Description | The AF6-120.1 antibody reacts with the I-A MHC class II alloantigen. These class II molecules are expressed on antigen presenting cells (including B cells) and a subset of T cells from H-2 bearing mice and are involved in antigen presentation to T cells expressing CD3/TCR and CD4 proteins. The AF6-120.1 antibody cross-reacts with H-2 and H-2 haplotypes, this antibody does not cross-react with other haplotypes (d, f, q, r, s). Distribution: B and activated T cells, APCs of H-2 mice Function: Antigen presentation Synonyms: MHC class II Structure: MHC class II |
| Clone | AF6-120-1 |
| Host | Mouse |
Application Details: I-Ab Mouse (Murine) antibody
| Application | Flow Cytometry (FACS), Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections) (IHC (fro)), Immunofluorescence (IF) |
| Application Notes | Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: immunofluorescence microscopy, immunoprecipitation, and immunohistochemical staining of acetone-fixed frozen sections. Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is < 0.5 µg per 10 cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. * Alexa Fluor® 488 has a maximum emission of 519 nm when it is excited at 488 nm. ** Alexa Fluor® is a registered trademark of Molecular Probes, Inc. Alexa Fluor® dye antibody conjugates are sold under license from Molecular Probes, Inc. for research use only, except for use in combination with microarrays and high content screening, and are covered by pending and issued patents. |
| Conjugate | Alexa Fluor 488 |
| Purification | The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with Alexa Fluor® 488 under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated Alexa Fluor® 488. |
| Buffer | Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide. |
| Storage | The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze. |
