Application Notes
|
Can be used for immunohistochemical staining of paraffin and frozen sections of breast, lung and ovarian tumor tissues. It may be used for staining of paraffin-embedded tissue sections fixed in neutral-buffered formalin and is compatible with commonly used histological fixatives. This antibody can be used in the form of an enzyme conjugate for development in ELISA sandwich assays of under-glycosylated tumor-associated MUC1 mucins in human serum. This is in conjunction with ABIN143898 specific to the unglycosylated VNTR region of MUC1 as a capture antibody. This antibody has been tested by flowcytometry against primary mouse mammary epithelial cells, a mousemammary epithelial cell line and two human breast tumor cell lines (MCF-7 and SKBR3). No staining was detected in this flow cytometry experiment. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the researcher
