Application Notes

Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of human M-CSF (7.0ng/ml), a concentration of 0.02-0.03ug/ml of this antibody is required. ELISA: To detect human M-CSF by direct ELISA (using 100ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antibody allows the detection of 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant human M-CSF. Western Blot: To detect human M-CSF by Western blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2ug/ml. The detection limit for recombinant human M-CSF is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded. Reconstitution: Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of >0.2mg/ml.
