Description	ABIN161439is a useful marker for identification of macrophage subpopulations in various organs, especially the metallophillic macrophages adjacent to the marginal zone of the spleen. In addition, ABIN161439detects macrophages at inflammatory sites and is positive with Kupffer cells. The antigen detected is a cytoplasmic and cell surface component. No reactivity of ABIN161439was found with dendritic cells, peritoneal resident macrophages, peri- toneal exudate cells or blood cells.
