Application Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA), Functional Studies (FUNC), Immunoprecipitation (IP)
Application Notes Neutralization (1-2.5 ug/ml, to yield one-half maximal inhibition (ND50) of the biological activity of human VEGF (50 ng/ml), ELISA (0.5 ug/ml, allows the detection of 0.5- 1.0 ng/well of recombinant human VEGF165 or other VEGF splice forms), Immunoprecipitation (1-5 ug/ml lysate or reaction volume). Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions of this antibody are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Buffer This antibody is supplied as Protein A purified IgG lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.4 containing no preservative. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of >0.5 mg/ml.
Storage The lyophilized IgG is stable at 4°C for at least one month and for longer when kept at –20°C. When reconstituted the antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4°C. Shelf life: minimum one year from despatch.
