| Description | TCR alpha and beta are members of the immunoglobulin superfamily and components of the CD3/TCR complex expressed on most peripheral T cells, intestinal epithelial lymphocytes and thymocytes. The CD3/TCR complex plays a key role in antigen recognition, signal transduction, and T cell activation. The alpha/beta TCR recognizes peptide bound to MHC class I and II. The HR73 antibody has been shown to stimulate T cell activation in vitro. Distribution: Most peripheral T cells, intestinal epithelial lymphocytes, thymocytes Function: Antigen recognition, T cell activation/responses Synonyms: TCR alpha/beta, alpha/beta TCR Structure: Ig superfamily, CD3/TCR complex with CD3 and TCR-alpha subunit, 40 and 46 kD |
| Clone | R73 |
| Host | Mouse |
Application Details: alphabeta TCR Rat antibody
| Application | Flow Cytometry (FACS), Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections) (IHC (fro)), Western Blotting (WB), Activation, Depletion |
| Application Notes | Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: immunoprecipitation, Western blotting, immunohistochemical staining of acetone-fixed frozen sections,in vitro activation of alpha/beta TCR T cells and in vivo depletion of alpha/beta TCR T cells . The LEAF(TM) purified antibody (Endotoxin <0.1 EU/µg, Azide-Free, 0.2 µm sterile-filtered) is recommended for functional assays (ABIN157340). Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is < 0.5 µg per 10 cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. |
| Conjugate | LEAF |
| Purification | The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography. |
| Buffer | Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing no preservative. 0.2 µm filter sterilized. Endotoxin level is < 0.1 EU/µg of the protein (< 0.01 ng/µg of the protein) as determined by the LAL test. |
| Storage | The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 °C. This LEAF(TM) solution contains no preservative, handle under aseptic conditions. |
